New clubs hit the capital

Forget what you’ve read about clubbing hitting the skids, this winter sees two exciting new venues opening in London…

On the back of great success with The Star Of Bethnal Green, promoter/entrepreneur Rob Starr (One of the men behind Mulletover) is bringing his next venture to London King’s Cross. His new pub, The Star Of Kings, has already released a busy program of nights, including a Hypercolour special, and is scheduled to open on the December 9. Inn-keeping (Geddit?) with its pub aesthetic, we’re set to see comedy nights, quizzes and live music as well as DJ sets and club nights.

Last week also saw legendary handbag-house music brand Hed Kandi open the doors of their first ever UK bar on Clapham High Street. Featuring cocktails, a luxury booth area available for bookings and a fully neon lit color-changing ceiling with Hed Kandi DJs on rotation every night and special guests to be announced, get ready for some ace party vibes throughout the festive season.
