If there was ever any doubt about Australia’s standing as a dance music force, it’s firmly squished by the AWESOME music festivals coming up in the New Year…

The Future Music Festival will be touring all over Oz from March 5-14 2011, featuring a homecoming set from Pendulum, as well as the long overdue Australian premieres of Richie Hawtin pres. Plastikman and Leftfield. Other super acts include Sander van Doorn, The Chemical Brothers, Dizzee Rascal, Sven Väth, Steve Angello (of Swedish House Mafia), Don Diablo, Loco Dice and many more.

But, if you don’t want to wait that long, do not despair. Summadayze 2011 kicks off January 1 in Melbourne and will touch down in Adelaide, The Gold Coast and Perth respectively.
