News Dance/Club Industry Mixmag reports from Bangalore

Nightlife ExhangeMixmag’s Asian clubbing adventure came to an explosive ending in Bangalore this week, as we witnessed India swap nightlife with Canada as part of Smirnoff’s Nightlife Exchange in one of the most bizarre parties Mixmag’s ever attended…

Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange project saw 14 countries swap nightlives across 6 continents, with 18,000 ravers enjoying over 80 hours of music from more than 50 artists and DJs. If those numbers are too big to comprehend, they basically add up to one massive party.

Among the highlights from this international rave extravaganza were:

- Brazilian freestyle footballers & samba drummers creating a carnival atmopshere in Sydney
- Traditional Thai full moon fire displays blazing in Beirut
- Gauchos and tango dancers bringing a Latin flair to Dublin

This was on top or the array of massive artists who were headlining each event, which included Jaguar Skills, Marcus Schultz, Zane Lowe, Peaches, Tinie Tempah and more.

But the highlight for Mixmag had to be witnessing 1,500 Indians go wild as they danced alongside Canadian Mounties in the heat of Bangalore. Unfortgettable… for all the highlights from the event head to facebook.com/smirnoff
