Fergie pleased Tony De Vit ‘legacy lives on’

Fergie has responded to your vote for his mentor and friend, the late great Tony De Vit, as one of the top ten Greatest DJs Of All Time.

“Excellent news that Tony made it into Mixmag’s top 10 greatest DJs. It’s incredible to think that 12 years on from his passing he is being recognized as one of the greats. He was a major force who played a massive part in moulding the scene, single handedly closing the gap between straights and gays. He was a true gent and a great ambassador for dance music and his legacy lives on.”
